Notice from Our Fabric Manufacturer
The factory that produces our fabrics has informed us, in light of the recent global situation, that "we cannot promise at this point whether we will be able to continue production from the next batch onward. Even if we can produce, maintaining current prices will be very difficult."
We remain in close contact with the factory, and production is not stopping immediately. However, we sense that even the factory is entering a period where it is difficult to predict the future.
About Our Stock
At this stage, we have secured a larger inventory than usual. There is no situation in which something will run out soon, or in which you need to rush to place an order. Please feel free to consider your purchase at your usual pace.
When We Recommend Reaching Out Early
If you are:
- A customer who already has a product in mind that you would like to make at some point
- A customer who has a strong preference for a specific fabric or color
we kindly recommend that you consult or place your order as early as possible. Doing so increases the chance that we can fulfill your request.
If the factory eventually responds that production is no longer possible, some fabrics may become difficult to restock. We ask for your understanding on this point in advance.
About Price Increases
Frankly, the situation is quite tough; however, due to price competition, raising prices is not something we can do lightly.
To make up for this, our shop has been accumulating know-how in the use of AI, and by streamlining administrative and operational processes as much as possible, we are doing our best to keep prices from rising further.
As a side effect, however, irregular requests we used to accommodate may become harder for us to accept going forward. Since labor costs are the second largest expense after fabric costs, we ask for your understanding and cooperation on this point as well.
