Space Hood

The Space Hood is an option for those who have too much gap between their kigurumi mask and their head. It is a separate, larger hood worn just over the head, with urethane foam padding inserted between the hood and the mask.

We make these custom to fit your head size, scaling up by a certain percentage. You can also choose between small and large sizes, which have different scaling ratios.

The neck portion is scaled differently - it is made to match your measured neck circumference, so it will be neither too loose nor too tight. This is actually quite important. You do not have to worry about the hood slipping off while wearing a kigurumi, and conversely, it will not be so tight that it presses against your carotid arteries. (If you do experience any issues, we will address them.)

Hood Size (How much foam can you fit inside?)

You can choose between large and small hood sizes. Decide based on how much urethane foam you want to pack inside. The photo shows roughly how much foam can fit in each size.

Our recommendations:

• Height 160cm or taller: Small size
• Height under 160cm: Large size

Zentai Hood

For zentai enthusiasts, we can also make a hood that matches your hadatai hood size with a closed face.

If you want to use a face-open hadatai for kigurumi but also want a zentai option without buying two separate suits, wearing this closed-face hood allows you to use the same suit as a pseudo-zentai.

Under-Mask Hood (Menshita)

This is a neck-only hood worn without a full hadatai. It is designed for those who normally use a one-piece hadatai but want to quickly get into kigurumi for impromptu events, or for those who want to take selfies with just the mask without the hassle of putting on a full suit.
